Michael-Hetzel-150X182Michael Hetzel, Director of Lending, has 30 years of experience in the banking industry and has been with WWBIC for three years. He oversees all lending operations related to underwriting, due diligence, loan servicing, and marketing for WWBIC‘s 14 loan funds (including three other CDBG loan funds). He oversees a team of five lenders who originate more than $6 million in new loans per year and WWBIC’s team of 6 Small Business Consultants, who coach and provide Technical Assistance to our over 550 WI clients.

Edgar-Espinosa-150X82Edgar Espinosa, Southeast Wisconsin Loan Officer, has been with WWBIC for 1 year and understands first-hand the hardships of startups. His parents opened a bakery in New York City when he was 15 years old and he served as the bookkeeper for 10 years. He went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and is now helping other entrepreneurs achieve their dream.

He provides business plan and financial projections coaching to English and Spanish speaking clients as well as underwriting loans between $1,000 and $250,000. With his entire Southeast Wisconsin team, he has provided just under $1 million in assistance to clients in southeastern Wisconsin to start or grow their business. Edgar is very much committed to WWBIC’s mission and knows the impact a small business can have in the community.
