Kenosha / Racine
Next Meeting: Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 6:30-8:30pm
Topic: “Local Manufacturing Possibilities for Inventors“
Guest Speaker: Michael Snodgrass – Operations Manager, Lakeside Curative Services
Michael will discuss a local, cost effective way for manufacturing new products, packaging and preparing them for shipping to customers. After creating a new product, inventors usually need a source to manufacture the items, and often consider overseas options to keep costs down. Lakeside Curative Services offers a nice low cost, local option.
Lakeside Curative Services is a non-profit vocational rehabilitation center providing training and services for people with disabilities to get jobs. It is a win-win situation for inventors with limited budgets to get affordable manufacturing help while providing workers with disabilities projects for training.
